Thank you Martin and Heather. Art, marquetry involves cutting shapes out of wood veneer (extremely thin slices of wood) and putting them together like a jigsaw puzzle to create a picture or pattern. That's an extremely simplistic explanation but there's lots of information online. Thank you for your interest and send me a message if you want to talk about it more. ;-)
