Thanks to everyone for your kind and very encouraging comments. I also hope for a kinder winter, but won't be too upset if we get some snow because I really enjoyed painting it!

This is an oil study of the woodland area close to home. Last years snow fall was very pretty and I have been meaning to paint something all year. Just managed to get around to it!
