Parrot! by Julia Scott

This one really caught my eye. I also enjoy painting birds with Coloured pencil. I do hope you enjoy your adventure down this road. Looking at this it is hard to believe this is your first with CP. <br />You&#39;ve really managed to use them well to get the feather texture.

This is terrific Julia, love the colours and detail. I have tried coloured pencils but found that they would not blend as I would like them to. Just giving a waxy sheen. I&#39;ve used Derwent type CP. It would be interesting to know what type you have used.
