Wonderful gallery of dog portraits, superbly drawn. This has to be my favourite for the character in the face. You really are quite brilliant at doing these studies. Are they commissions or just for yourself?

Hi Thea Thank you very much for your comments, are very kind. I do some as commissions, but my aim is to build up a portfolio so I have some examples to show potential customers. I am also planning to get some made into prints, as these seem to sell well. Working my way through dog breeds, cats next! I think a lot of amateur artists dream of painting/drawing as a career, thats certainly my dream. Just wish I had more time to spend on it.
