Painted from the deck of the Thomson Spirit on a recent cruise to Norway. This painting combines watercolour, gouache and pastel as sketching mediums. I love the boat sheds along the shore line and the green door just sang out from the surroundings along with the low cloud hanging along the side of the fjord. Even though there was some light rain(I sheltered under a lifeboat) it just had to be painted!
