Hazelwood Yachtclub reflected

Reflections are super, very vibrant painting, is it the photo that's fuzzy or is it painted like this?, Its a fantastic painting.

Hi Karleen, It is definitely the photo which is fuzzy!!! I am hopeless with my camera taking pics of my work.Robert commented on my Tuscany painting,same problem alas! Regards, Judi

I'd love a better view of this, because the colours and reflections work so well. If your problem is an unsteady hand, then perhaps a tripod would be the answer. If it helps, though, I'm what's called a high myope - just means I'm extremely short-sighted, and have trouble with camera view-finders (ie, if I can see through it, then I can't see the subject). What works for me is to lay the picture on the floor, hold the camera above it, hold it square to the canvas and press the switch: with hope in my heart.... Works more often than not, and I then crop the image on the computer, using very basic software. Give it a go, because we're missing out a bit here, and would all like to see your work more clearly.

Thanks I have taken another shot and it's better but still not as true as the painting.Thanks for your input!
