Your photography seems to be improving, I can see this one properly! Lovely light on the water and colour in the sky.

Thanks Robert!

Agree with Robert, the light is exellent, and the foreground is well done.

Thanks Ruth! Somebody I know suggested I get rid of the foreground, but I believe it gives it recession,or depth of field.Glad you agree!

Love the way you've done the light. What's sauna sailing? Wouldn't even want to imagine this of the coasts of the British Isles! Brrrrrr!

Thanks Colleen! Brrr! here too,we have very cold nights especially but it's called sauna sailing because the water is warmed by the Power station ,so a lot of steam rises from it in the cool air. They actually have swimming trials here as well in preparation for Olympics. Our 1500m Gold medallist Grant Hackett was actually swimming here b/4 he retired .

This is a smaller painting,16x12",painted in early morning, into the light,at Hazelwood cooling Pondage, near Churchill,Vic. They often hold regattas here and sauna sailing, due to the water being warm from the Power station.
