Love this painting - I have always enjoyed 'clouds' I live on the Mendips near Bristol and every evening I am treated to spectacular sunsets - sadly I just can't paint them!

Thanks Brenda-I've not tried a sunset yet,we too have a lovely 180degree sunset every night,but they change soooo fast,impossible to paint on site. I may have a go blocking in ,take colour notes,and a photo for reference.A big challenge!! Thanks Jean also for your comments!

This was painted b/4 Easter,2011,in Port Albert,Gippsland coast,Vic.,Australia I loved the challenge of the moody clouds,and reflections of the pier This painting won Best Oil at Tyers Art festival in November-$500 prize which will come in handy!!
