A trip to Visby, Gotland in 2015 found me walking the cobbled streets each morning, to paint at their garden ...... it was only 10 minutes away from our friend's apt where we had been given to stay.... I felt like I was in heaven! The gardens were at their peak! This was my first piece, standing precariously with paint in one hand and paper in the other.... and my favorite. I went straight to painting without pencil sketch first.
