When I see these beauties, it always fills me with joy, at their gorgeous color, and how insistent they are to pop up from the ground, even on top of each other! The surround ground was a challenge, as were all the spores on the mushrooms. The background was done by wetting the paper first in small areas, and then using my watercolor brush pens, which have fine points for small areas... There is so much to see in the forest, if we take the time to look!
