I like the way that these are going Joseph. The compositions are good, the way that the action is at the top of the paper with the strong flowing verticals below.

Those strong bright yellow shadows are very unusual and emanate so much light and such a glow. Great immediate and spontaneous painting.

Thanks Louise and Thea - yes I think that you are right Louise about the verticals below (or above) the main point of focus. This little painting is really just a little experiment (and my photo looks a bit blurred lol) for something of a larger scale.
