Beautiful work, John, part of the agaric family of fungi. I do admire your stippling. A method I'm trying out with the same subject. Have you tried a gelly role pen (sakura 0.5) on a black or toned paper? Hope to view more of your fungi work.

A delightful drawing John

Lovely work and subject John, and I sense that you enjoyed doing this.

Excellently composed. The way you have left interesting negative spaces so appealing

Super composition John. Wonderful variety of marks you’ve used to build the subjects, I really like what you’ve left out….if that makes sense.

Lovely, John, so well observed

Thank you Carol, Heather, Tessa, Martin, Fiona, Thalia, Christine and Spencer. Thanks for the idea to try a white on black Carol, that could be quite interesting. It does make sense Fiona, thanks. I decided to leave out a lot of the path as I felt it would crowd the drawing and take away from the main subject. It also allowed me to create a flow into the background.
