LUNCH

Very strong image of the bird John, especialy the feathers, rich colours. The grass looks good as do the distant hills. It's a good painting but I think the "road" doesn't seem quite right - a first I thought it was a large pipeline. I can't see what's wrong- maybe perspective/brush stroke on left hand side makes it look as if the road is falling over, maybe too "straight" and divides the painting into two halves, maybe too prominent in painting of grass alongside road, maybe road tone needs knocking back a bit. Or it may be just how it's been captured with camera - maybe see what someone else thinks. I've not heard of Marwell International but good luck with your entries.

Hi Pat - thank you for your comment - I must have gone wrong some where as the road is meant to be a LOCH as it is in Scotland - but I can see your point - it does look different in the flesh better than the photograph
