Balloon Man by John Robertson

I do like this scene John and the lively way in which is painted. So many interesting brush marks, the grey wavy lines behind the umbrella in the background caught my eye and the way the chap is slumped in the chair, waiting hopefully for customers, in the shade, is perfect. Such spontaneous painting!
