Classic drawing as befits a retired architect.

I like how you have left the sky and trees as white paper to concentrate interest on the lovely old house. There is a similar ex mill owners house near to me, which has been empty for some time and now is in a very sad state. It is to be demolished soon and modern houses built on the site. Pity but better than it eventually collapsing I suppose.

This is again a beautiful addition to your pen-and-wash gallery, John, I love your style!

Superb pen and wash work, as usual! I love the treatment of the trees in contrast with the delicate wash on the building.
