As I was trying to get the shape and posture of the chicken, I drew lots and lots..this one seems to capture her stance, but not sure whether to leave it pale, concentrating on her head, or bring in some colour. The original, of course, was skin coloured with just a touch of reddish-brown where the feathers had started to grow. Her comb was also very pale - I have given it a more familiar reddish colour.
