Hi Joe, Happy New Year my friend, good to see your fantastic work here, all the best Paul ;0)

A beautiful addition to this lovely series.

What a treat, recognised your style straight away. Stunningly beautiful as always.

Superb. I'd love to go on that walk.

Gorgeous as always. Jx

A beautiful winter gallery! Especially like the sun in this and the reflection. Well done.

Your winter series is quite wonderful and breathtakingly beautiful. You have totally cracked how to get that cold and frosty light into your paintings - a skill indeed.

This is the first time I have seen your paintings on this site. But the moment I saw them, I recognised your style. I checked anyway and sure enough, I already have your web site listed under "Favourites" because I find your work so inspirational and absolutely exquisite.

This is just perfection i love everthing about it!!!!

Love the light, a beautiful painting. A super gallery.

Hello Paul, fancy meeting you here. :o) I havn't been on here for a while, I dont know where the time goes All the Best for 2011 Paul. Regards Joe

I agree with all the above comments. This is just a superb gallery, stunning paintings, I must have overlooked you: this is a maginificent gallery.

A wonderful gallery and this is a lovely piece. I'm glad I discovered your gallery!

Great painting , terrific Gallery.

Very evocative , a beautifully painted scene with lovely colours.

I knew it as soon as I saw it. Just beautiful.

Absolutely heavenly, such beauty.

I think they liked it..... And so do I - acrylic on watercolour paper can be so effective, I wonder that more people don't do it; much of your work reminds me (and I mean this as a compliment) of a particular genre of Victorian oil paintings; the colours are gentle and desaturated, but the impact is extremely powerful. This must have been a pleasure to paint, when it all started coming together.

Thank you all for your lovely comments, it is nice to get feedback it is very much appreciated. Robert I accept your compliment, thank you. I've said it to others but I sometimes feel like a dinasaur the way I paint in this contemporary age ! The pleasure of the painting certainly came at the end when I stood back and looked at it, it is one of the few paintings that I have painted without adding any animals into the scene. Kind regards to you all Joe
