This painting is one of the biggest I've ever done. I started working on it in 2019 but the size and the detail of it started to look a little daunting. For a while it was just sat in the corner of my studio waiting for me to feel inspired enough to finish it. Apparently, in the end all I needed was a worldwide pandemic to pick up the paint brush again, and I'm glad I did. I feel this is one of the best paintings I've ever done.
