John this is quite an unusual technique for a portrait, the coloiurs are muted but work together, can't vouch for the likeness but we can the character. I think the legs need tweaking in terms of comparative size and foreshortening.

Yes, there is something about this.....not sure whether it's the pose, the application...? It's intriguing, I like it!
