What I especially like about this is how the restricted cold colours around the face really make it stand out - as well as an excellent likeness of RF. Bravo!

This is a watercolour on A3, 300 gsm paper of Sir Ranulph Fiennes. An amazing, strong and adventurous man, who is to be commended by his efforts in crossing both the Arctic and Antarctic circles. He has a very characterful face and was a joy to paint if not a challenge!
