I was, Marjorie on the first one in 2013, Nick Lord as the over all winner got to paint Hilary Mantel for the British Library. The judges are looking for 3 things- Originality, Technical skills and Emotional impact, difficult to combine all of them.

Love the portrait Jiri. I was not keen on the winner - it has not tempted me to draw with a worn out paintbrush.
