Unusual subject, but it's made a really interesting picture - especially like the pink background which pulls it all together and gives it a nice warmth.

Every detail is so well done - the shine inside the shell, the exactly right thickness of the edge of the shell, the watery reflection of the yolk...what size is it Jim and did it take long to paint? Did you use glazes?<br /><br />
