W/C 8x8ins on an old pad from "The Works" store. Found my paints during the enforced distancing. Had a go at Andy Walker's demo in May LP. His oil version also looked really warm and sunny, but I stuck to W/C . Found this pad seems to soak up the watercolour, so not to happy with it !

James Foxworthy
Started watercolour painting in 1996 after being inspired by TV artists Alwyn Crawshaw and Ashley Jackson. No formal training, but some informal evening sessions with a local artist (the late Ken Middleton), plus a 5-day Edinburgh art break in 2003.
