Don't be so hard on yourself. I like it. Great clouds.

I like this painting very much Jenny, one of the best I have seen, honestly!

Nothing wrong with this at all. I like the monochrome effect with the bright red of the poppies, vety photographic.

It's a good vibrant depiction of the poppies, Jenny, and a bit abstract which I like.

The introduction of the red pastel into your ink & milton paintings is fabulous Jenny.

Thank you, John, Carole, Kevin, Helen, Gudrun, Pat and Fiona. You are all being too kind

One word... wow. Most certainly a triumph not a disaster.

You do beat yourself about the head with a mallet, don't you......? This is a painting with impact, the sky is very effective, the reds jump out at you: blow me down, what more do you want?

I wish I had disasters as good as this!!

Thank you Val, Julie and Robert. Usually the photo is only a poor attempt to show the painting - but in this case I think the photo must flatter the painting, it certainly does it a favour by reducing 20" x 14" down to an image of just a couple of inches. What more do I want ? What I always want, the painting on the easel to look as good as the vision I had in my mind

It's lovely, Jenny. I love the dramatic atmosphere and the lively foreground. Nothing wrong with it that I can see!

Thank you very much, Biddy

I really shouldn't show this. It went wrong from the start, a day of constant phone calls & interruptions, and subsequent fiddling with it did nothing to improve it. But - sod it - it is what it is.
