After my last effort

i think your last painting was fabulous, and this is like your others is perfect :-)

I hope you don't mind me saying Jenny but this puts me in mind of a religious painting, just needs the crown of thorns.( I mean this in the nicest way) Your quink and miltons paintings are such powerful images.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, Rebecca and Val. The Marilyn portrait was the LEAST creative thing I have ever done and it got lots of comments, I was much more pleased with this and I thought it was going to get a complete blank !!! Not religious at all, Val, LOL, he is homeless, helpless, hopeless.

It is hard to know whether it is because I am boring people or whether it is just that the gallery is being swamped by the multiple posting people. It is a very slow 'clunky' site anway, takes forever to 'turn the page' and is difficult to have a proper conversation as the people who comment aren't notified of a reply to their comment.. Time to take my leave, I think.

Multiple posters ... I know what Val means. It does conjure up a sense of desolation and resignation. Very powerful as usual. Do you take photos or do you make them up? With regard to the other, it's all a question of taste .... I like paintings to say something. I try ....
