Fabulous composition and use of colour. Your entire portfolio is most impressive. How long, approximately does it take you to draw a portrait? I have just completed a 3 day workshop with Mike Sibley who specializes in Dog Portraits and some of his work takes him many hours. (Up to 200!) I like your colour work too - brilliant.

Hello Brenda, A portrait can take a week, week and a half or at the most depending on hair, accessories, etc...I work round the clock and stop for lunch, water, other, when my body yells: Hey, remember me? For many years, I refused to do color pieces, I was in denial because all I really wanted to do was graphite work. I'm glad I came around to it, since I really enjoy their vibrance. Thanks, Jay
