I used 140lb c.p. Canson watercolor paper with several coats of ArtSpectrum Colorfix sanded Primer; color Aubergine. Using Rembrandt artist pastels and Stabilo pastel pencils and a Generals white charcoal pencil. Roughly 5"x6".
