Wow... A super portrait. .. Photo realistic, I would not normally look at, but the angle and the expression. Its a winner.

I hope POL will commission you to do a piece for the online newsletter, because I'd be interested to know the techniques you employ for these paintings; I suspect they're worked up in layers on the basis of very careful drawing, but the moment you add oil paint to a drawing it obscures the lines and shapes that have to be re-established with further paint: it doesn't look to me like a glazing technique ... I hope to find out more in due course! Start a blog!
