Absolutely works 100% for me. Love the vibrant and zingy blue, the gorgeous mauves and the background which is muted but compliments the other colours used. Lovely painting.

My only comment would be 'paint more like this' - it is a most attractive composition. I think your background colours work really well and help accentuate and push forward the pansies in the pot.

Oil on canvas. 20cm x 20cm. I took these potted pansies in from the garden to paint them in this Raku pot. Not sure if this picture works I had difficulty with the background colour...any comments.....?
