... or a tummy rub.

Gorgeous, spontaneous portrayal of a typical tummy-rub moggie!!! Very well done, Janet.

PS: Looking again, I think it is one of the best cat portraits I have seen in a long time!

Fantastic - love the feeling you've captured and the light is great!

This wouldn't be one of those little horrors that invites a tummy-rub and then gets busy with the claws, would it? Fantastic portrait.

this painting is superb. I remember my old black and white cat laying on the carpet in the sun in just the same way!

And did he/she lacerate your arms when you went to stroke.......?

Just so you all know, this cat is the gentlest, funniest, most loveable creature you could ever wish to meet. So far, no claws, scratches or bites, and I've known her for about 5 years now. She greets you when she sees you and comes when you call. She's a good mouser, but hasn't got the one that's chewed my newly planted clematis to the ground, She just loves to play and be the centre of attention.

I love everything about this - wonderful portrayal

This is a wonderful cat at play acrylic painting, it definately looks a character!

Thanks for the comment on my moggy,I dont own a cat either,I own three dalmatians instead. I love the position you have painted this cat in,very natural

About 40x30 cm., acrylic on canvas board. This cat will do anything for a back-scratch.
