No I'd leave it., great colour and subject.

I love your semi abstract style Janet.... i strive to paint with a looser, more abstract style, but seem to obsess at times with detail . Thank you for your generous comments on my boats painting. Both boat paintings are oils , 9" x 12" , on 'Felix' canvas pads. My printer is also a scanner and can facilitate anything A4 or less. I bought some acrylic paints with a christmas voucher as oils take soooo long to dry but , acrylics are too fast drying !!!! even with a gel retarder , i can't get the hang of them so have reverted back to oil as i was wasting so much precious paper. I can only find two paintings in your gallery... do you have more that i haven't come across. ?

Thanks for your most welcome comment on my Maldon painting, I just had to see your work and it does not disappoint. Carole is right don't change this, subtle, well arranged and conceived, good choice of colour and shape, keep working in this way, the possibilities are endless and not widely exploited at the moment.

This picture might be better cut into two halves, I'm not sure.
