Just beautiful - an unusual perspective, nice restrained palette

thanks Tom, I was sitting down on the ground looking up the hill towards the top of the earthwork. The ink is black writing pen ink which I draw with and then use water to spread and dilute it. because of the make up of the ink you can get quite a variety of colours out of it. I only used the black ink and water to do this.

This is lovely. I am thinking of trying different inks out. This has inspired me to get to it. I fancy seeing what a simple set of felt tips will do once water is applied to a drawing done with them. jx

make sure they are water soluble pens though. i have never tried it with felt tips ..something to try out sometime. I used a kebab stick to draw with and a paint brush to blend and spread the ink.It is interesting to use diluted bleach with this medium as well as you can get yellowy orangey tones as well as white bleached out areas.
