I roughly sketched the grasses and flowers, used masking fluid on the oxeye daisies,applied a naples yellow wash, painted the grasses and flowers, then masking fluid grasses and stalks, applied another wash. removed the masking fluid, then searched for geometric shapes within the painting created by the washes and applied masking fluid.
