I unfortunately did not have watercolour paper and used normal sketch paper. This pic is A2 in size and was my first loose splash of watercolour to see how I got on with washes etc. I used wax to make the water look wilder however it hasn't worked as well as I would have liked. I then used pastel for the old jetty as I was worried the paper wouldn't hold.
