I made the basic structure out of papier mache, and then covered it with plaster of paris for strength. The colour was made by mixing red acrylic paint with white gesso. The beads and jewellery came from various charity shops. I made the small dragons out of Fimo oven clay. The dragon is seen in the Buddhist faith as a protector of the 'three jewels' of Buddhism. There is a seated Boddhiatva teaching, with a bhikku holding offerings for others to give to the dragon. This was made to fulfill the requirement for a 'well resolved art work in 3d for the Access Course in fine art I am studying at Coleg Sir Gar.
