Thanks Derek, not the Emirates. There is a loose link to European Union. The reason for it is that I painted this piece after a photo I shot at Bucarest in Herastrau Park, where there is a monument devoted to the forefathers of the European Union. There are statues circled by uneven pavement. The painting shows part of the pavement. This is the key to the UE mystery!
