This is a charming portrait and very brave of you to take on a commission. The only tiny thing is that I do think the eyes are a little wide apart (more than one eye's width which is the norm I believe). Otherwise I think you have achieved a very good likeness.

bloomin nora i never even noticed that was too busy making the eyes a little bit smaller i forgot about the distance but his mom loves it and thats the main thing , ive only been painting a few months so i guess i did not too bad x

made his hair a little darker too at his mummy's request :)

Don't worry - it doesn't detract from the painting at all. It is just that I have done a few portraits of babies and children now and have had to remember about all the proportions of their faces. You are doing exceptionally well if you have only been painting for such a short time - so keep going as you are on the right track. Glad his Mum is pleased with it - as she should be!
