Many thanks guys! Btw, I was quite limited concerning the palette as there was another old painting underneath and it was mostly blue. This is in fact why this portrait is so blueish.

Blueish is good Ivan. The glass looks great, and for me the negative space in this is what gives the painting the oomph.

Hang on Studio Wall

As the name implies, this is a re-do of an older gouache painting that hanged on my wall for months (it has also been uploaded to my gallery for a while). However, I felt there's something incomplete in that painting, particularly the face. So I decided to change a couple of details (face, arms, etc.) and here's what we've got. Now I can say it's finally done! And it can keep hanging on my wall.
