Yes, it is more subdued than your usual pics, but I like it very much. One personal suggestion, if you,ll forgive me, but I think the painting would be more "alive" if the boat was a little stronger, more definate in colour. You have a lovely blend of colours and are not afraid to use them, so, well done Rhian. love, Bill

Very soft and peaceful. I personally like the soft boat almost floating in the mist on the water. I think I would even soften the dark line at its base to make it even more ethereal. I'm waiting for the arm to appear holding excalibur.

Diana,..you really made me laugh with your comment.!! as for you, Bill,..i will defer to your superior knowledge of boats, but you are talking to the silly susan,..who does not know one end of a keel,! from another.!! lol. will i forgive you ?..mmmmmm, of course i will, but the whole scene, is about,..quitely going to sleep at the end of the day, so to have it .."alive" as you so quaintly put it, and leaping of the paper ..would have put the focus on the boat and not the whole of the scene.!!its surposed to be, softly merged to fit with the theme.!!! that was quite poetic of me.!!! very strange!!! am i having another .."brainstorm"!! love, Rhian. I love the peaceful & misty look to this painting, i can imagine sitting there looking out over the sea watching the sun go down. Also love the colours. Soooooo well painted.
