A recent visit to Kew Gardens left me totally in awe of the beauty and complexity of plants and leaves and their endless colour combinations and patterns. The Palm House was a particular inspiration and this is my homage to one of the gorgeous plants growing inside its humid glass walls. While there we saw the incredible Marianne North Galleries which just gave me such a determination to paint with renewed energy.
