DOBCROSS VILLAGE, SADDLEWORTH.

This is just Lovely.

Is that the actual "cross" at Dobcross? I love this one; much prefer this style to your others that are much heavier with pen. The colours are spot on for those villages. My word you do a lot of paintings. How long does one like this take you? My village paintings took two or three days each but I can only get two or three hours a day.

So very atmospheric... right back to my (long ago) childhood.

Thanks for all of your kind comments. Diana ....... This probably is the Cross of Dobx although I don't know for sure! Some watercolours take up to forty hours, however the majority take between fifteen and twenty hours. Simple pencil sketches with watercolour over-washes take considerably less time to complete. Best regards, Ian.
