A good subject Holger but if you are going to use such as a rail loco, it needs - in my eye- to be very accurately drawn

Or totally loose, the loco is just an imagination. I found the perspective tendency wise to conserative. The first sketch was much more ambitious, I wanted to look up to the engine, but when it gets to painting... Thank you for your feedback!

Watercolour and coloured pencil 36x48, The railway line is dismantled long ago, but standing by the bridge you almost can smell the smoke, hear the noise of the engine that climbs up the ramp between Witten and Wuppertal. I tried to paint this imagination.
