'Last Walk in The Forest Together' by Chris Hill

Last Walk in Forest 4 SMALL 2

Impressive. Moody and full of implied drama.

Oh yes, moody is the word, and I love the muted palette.

Hauntingly beautiful Chris

A beautiful and emotional scene. What was the inspiration? It immediately brought to mind Richard Dehmel’s poem “Verklärte Nacht”.

Thanks for all kind comments - the inspiration for this was a song by David Gray. He sings 'as we walk down the shoreline one last time together' on the song 'Shine'. It has stuck with me for many years
