Helen, this is delightful, with a lovely glow on the poppies. I like the way you have cropped to bring your subject in contact with the edges of your paper, it is effective.

It is not easy capturing the delicacy of the paper thin petals which poppies have - these look a little robust - however I enjoyed painting them!
