Operation with Gas Masks, Acrylic Collage, Canvas, 31,5x23,6 inch, 2007. This acryl collage consists of various components of different countries like the USA, Kashmir, Spain and the world of mikrokosmos, which arouse a threatening impression in their totality. Within the lower range with gas masks protected soldiers and sevicewoman with machine guns rush in the direction of the spectator. It is about a military exercise on the exercise area of Fort Dix in the Federal State of New Yersey/USA, where soldiers of both kinds of sex are trained also for the gas war. The total uniform camouflages the last differences between women and men. At the lower edge urge between the two soldier groups in the center ball like and strange natures - as enlarged under the scanning electron microscope - whereby a phallus like thing is arranged like a cannon pipe into the air. Above of it spreads a terrace shaped landscape, which changes in the background into a mountain forest. The terraces of the flooded rice fields seem like broken mirrors. The terraces are in Kashmir - an agricultural country, in which 80 per cent of the population is dependent on the agriculture, which is operated only on 9 per cent of the state surface. The farmers harvest nevertheless 90 per cent of the national need of rice. Above the mountain forest a far, partially snow-covered winter landscape opens, in whose center on a hill rises a mysterious close-like fortress. It concerns the lock of the count of Zenete.
