This painting must have taken a long time to execute. Brilliant precision, colours and light on the subject.

Brilliant - I live in Worthing, this is my beach!

Ty ladies. Very encouraging comments. Much obliged

Amazing detail and colours. Fantastic patience you must have! Great work and so lovely to see something quite different on the gallery.

Thank you, Thea. I suppose it did take more effort than a snowy field, but i did enjoy it and so it never felt like a chore.

Very different piece.. but very well done..

Harry I love this painting, you must have a lot of patience. I especially like the title 'chuckies', are you Scottish by any chance, this is what my mother calls small stone/pebbles and she's Scottish. She's the only person I've heard say this word.

Thank you, Eddy and Fiona. I am indeed a scot, Fiona, despite the Irish moniker, and as far as i recall, these chuckies were photographed at Findhorn Bay. But as Christine says, one pebble beach is much like another.

Lovely stones - agree with all of above but all beaches aren't the same harry.....YOUR beach is obviously FAR cleaner than Skeggy!!!!!

You might say so, Jean. I couldnt possibly comment.

Just had a very pleasant wander around your impressive gallery and presume you are a resident of Central Scotland as well from some of your paintings. Thank you for your lovely comments on my latest posting, much appreciated.

One of my favorite subjects to paint...usually call mine "Stoned" This is terrific. Beautifully done. Love that name.

Thanks Sylvia. I've aways loved beach stones too , and 'chucked' good few in my time.

Another great pebble painting Harry, great work, great details and colours!
