Seaside Cafe No.1 (Fortunes of War)

I love the shapes and blues in this one Harry. I was wondering why it was called Fortunes of War?.

I think the cafe (or a pub next door) is called Fortunes of War. There was a big sign over the window which I decided not to include in the painting, but retained the name as a subsidiary title.

Another of those excellent windows in that seaside cafe Harry, agree with above comments, lovely colours, I have just noticed you posted this way back in feb 2010! I didn't even know this site existed back then, I only discovered it and became a contributor on it around late 2011, so that's why I'm a bit late with my comments on your work!!
