I painted Stuart as a demo during the Royal Institute of Oil painters exhibition at the Mall Galleries last week. I had planned a different painting for the demo but when I saw Stuart looking simply splendid as he walked around the exhibition I asked him if he would consider sitting for me. Happily he said yes!
