Really striking portrait, Gudrun. Lovely to see it. hope you're not too over run with busy ness!!

Unmistakeably yours Gudrun. Like you, I'm otherwise engaged but a generation on! But I'm still managing a bit of painting.

Good portrait Gudrun, my wife and I, we saw in it a hint of Egon Schiele.

Thank you all for your appreciation. I really do like oil pastels. I went to the exhibition called Facing the Modern: The portrait in Vienna 1900. It was a thought-provoking exhibition of art. I hope to get to the Emil Nolde exhibition in Edinburgh, but have just noticed that the Edinburgh Festival had started. Hmmm

A fabulous portrait, Gudrun. I’m not on here a lot at the moment either, I’m quite busy. I’m going on an Oil Pastel workshop in two weeks.

Thank you Ellen. I hope you enjoy the oil pastel course. It will be interesting to see how you get on with them.

Great striking strong portrait Gudrun!

As always your portrait is different, interesting and thought provoking.

Some more thanks for your appreciation. I have another oil pastel portrait itching in my fingers. Let's see when I can squeeze that one in ....

30x40cm oil pastel on oil canvas paper. School holiday busy but sneaked this one in. I glance at gallery now and again, but have no time to comment. I am still appreciating everyone's work.
