Print - ink

Love all forms of printing, Gudrun, especially linocuts. Great composition in this one, and I especially like the blue/black combination.

Now where have I seen that blue before? Another nice one Gudrun.

Very impressive, Gudrun. This is again a great work!

Thank you all for your appreciation. I have another 'series' in mind. Let's see if I can pull it off! I have some painting to do before that. I find that these prints are a bit addictive and wreak havoc with shoulders ....

This is such a lovely provincial cameo that one sees in old European villages Gudrun.

Thank you Carole. These prints are inspired by photographs that my father took in the 1950s. He was a professional photographer.

Your father would not only be impressed but proud too. I find your print work, started off by your father is a wonderful action and tribute......not to mention, they are outstanding also.

Just superb, Gudrun. Excellent composition, such a starkly elegant piece.

Thank you Seok Yam! Your kind comments and encouragement are much appreciated.

I really like this Gudrun - I love the simple lines and shapes, and that bold blue.

I am here again with inspiration from my photographic archive, and my subliminal fluidity! See previous posts for more detail. Again archival work 25x35cm rosapina paper and ink. It's a grey day for photographing work ....
